Abstract In this paper, we introduce a quantity that measures how far inframonogenic polynomials are from satisfying the maximum modulus principle. We show that, within the class of all inframonogenic polynomials of degree at most $n$, this quantity exhibits a sharp asymptotic behavior that is comparable to $n$.
